General Terms and Conditions

  1. The General Terms and Conditions (GTC’s) govern the relationship between you as a customer of the online shop and Chocolat Ammann AG. They are an mandatory part of every contract concluded.
    Changes of these GTC’s require the written form.
    Reference is also made to the provisions on the exclusion of liability (disclaimer) and to the provisions on data protection.
  2. The customer orders online. As soon as Chocolat Ammann AG confirms the order to the customer by e-mail, the contract is valid.
  3. Order changes are no longer possible after the customer has sent the order.
  4. The customer can register on the Chocolat Ammann AG homepage and open his personal account. Also orders without a personal account are possible. The customer is solely responsible for the completeness and correctness of his data. Orders are only possible after reaching the age of 18.
  5. Personal passwords used by the customer must be kept secret by the customer. It is responsible for all actions taken under its password.
  6. Delivery is at the expense of the customer. From an order value of CHF 60.00, delivery in Switzerland and Liechtenstein is free of charge. Deliveries to other countries are not possible via orders in the online shop. For this purpose, a corresponding request must be made at info@chocolatammann.ch. Chocolat Ammann AG shall not be liable for undeliverability of the goods due to missing information provided by the customer or his absence. Should an order not be available, the customer will be informed in time. Chocolat Ammann AG is not liable for delayed deliveries due to force majeure, traffic congestion, etc. The customer will not receive any compensation in this respect.
  7. Orders must be placed at least 5 days before delivery.The delivery time is therefore up to 5 working days. Orders can also be collected 2 days after the order has been placed during the opening hours of the factory shop, Chocolat Ammann AG, Schulgässli 23, 3627 Heimberg.
  8. The prices quoted in the online shop are those which are valid at the time the customer places his order. The prices include the legal value added tax. Credit and debit cards (VISA; MasterCard, Postfinance), PayPal, Twint serve as means of payment.
  9. Complaints regarding quality and completeness must be made within 24 hours after receipt of the goods by the customer. Thereafter, the delivery is considered to be definitively accepted.
  10. Chocolat Ammann AG manufactures a fresh product with a specific shelf life, and therefore cannot be held liable for improper storage of the goods by the customer or his auxiliary persons. The ideal storage temperature is between 16 and 18 degrees Celsius Chocolat Ammann AG is also not liable for any transport damage.
  11. The taking back or the exchange of goods that have arrived undamaged or completely at the customer is excluded.
  12. These terms and conditions are subject to Swiss law. Place of jurisdiction is Thun.
